Prairie Dogs and Corn Dogs

On the way back from breakfast yesterday morning, the girls were trying to name the animals they thought we would see on the summer trip.  They all agreed we would see moose, elk, foxes, wolves, dolphins, bears, and buffalos.  I promised Emma, even if it was in a zoo, we would see a tiger.  Then Chloe added that she thought we would see Prairie Dogs and Corn Dogs.  I'm pretty sure I can make half of that one happen too!

4 Weeks from Today!

The journey starts 4 weeks from today!  Can't Wait!!!

The Route is planned (always subject to change), key reservations are made, and most of the pre-trip purchases are made.  Lol, the trip budget is already spent on Bikes, Cargo Carriers, Bike Racks, Packs, "Swinter" Clothes, Travel Guides, Journals, Kids games & books, Camcorder, Laptop, and a 3G iPad (on order).  Cameras and iPods are at Best Buy for pre-trip servicing (trust me, buy the extended warranties it more than pays for itself).  Passports and Park Passes are in.  Car has been checked out!  Is 4 weeks out to early to pack?

Looks like the house will be full of family all summer.  Sent the email and got lots of takers.  Gave them no choice, meet us on the trip or stay in the house. Looks like they all opted for the house.  I'm still betting some of them meet us out west!!!

I just hope the oil stays away from the beach here for our summer guest!
